Stress Response

Picture
“Come back!" the Caterpillar called after her. "I've something  important to say."
This sounded promising, certainly. Alice turned and came  back again.
"Keep your temper," said the Caterpillar.”

Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

And what an important message that is – “Keep Your Temper”

Workplaces are inevitably stressful at times. Deadlines, expectations, personal interactions, these all add levels of stress to the tasks we must complete.
During this workshop, the full stress response, also known as flight-fight-freeze, will be covered.  An explanation of which areas of the brain are responsible for which factors within this response, will be shared.  This information, though based
completely in science, will be delivered in an interactive way, and made  applicable and understandable to the particular group.
Understanding the neurobiological process of stress will enable participants to be more aware of what is happening within their brains and bodies when they feel stress.  This knowledge will enable better regulation of stress levels, and provide an understanding of what we need to do to improve future stress management.
Your staff will leave this workshop will an enlightened understanding of themselves and others, particularly with regard to stress mediated behaviour.
We envision this leading to less confrontation and ultimately a more respectful and considerate working environment.
I look forward to delivering this workshop to you and your staff….
